1. Introduction

Welcome to FileShore. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FileShore mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by FileShore ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using FileShore, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.


2. Definitions

  • "FileShore ID" means the unique alphanumeric username assigned to a User for identification within the Service.
  • "User" means any individual who creates an account and uses the Service to store and manage digital documents.
  • "Merchant" means any business entity that uses the Service to send bills, vouchers, or manage loyalty programs.
  • "Documents" means bills, receipts, warranty cards, vouchers, loyalty cards, and any other digital records stored through the Service.
  • "Wallet" means the digital storage space within the Service where a User's Documents are stored.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use FileShore. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.


4. Account Registration

4.1 FileShore ID

To use the Service, you must create a FileShore ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.

4.3 One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one FileShore account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all associated accounts.

4.4 Account Security

You must notify us immediately at support@fileshore.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.


5. The Service

5.1 What FileShore Provides

FileShore provides a platform for:

  • Receiving and storing digital bills and receipts from Merchants
  • Storing warranty cards with expiry tracking
  • Managing loyalty program memberships and points
  • Receiving and redeeming vouchers and offers from Merchants
  • Organizing and searching stored Documents

5.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.


6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code
  • Share your FileShore ID credentials with others
  • Create fake or misleading transaction records

6.2 Document Accuracy

FileShore stores Documents as received from Merchants. We do not verify the accuracy, validity, or authenticity of Documents. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your Documents.


7. Merchant Interactions

7.1 Merchant Relationship

When you allow a Merchant to scan your FileShore ID, you authorize:

  • The Merchant to send you digital bills and receipts
  • Automatic enrollment in the Merchant's loyalty program (if applicable)
  • The Merchant to send you vouchers and promotional offers

7.2 No Endorsement

The presence of any Merchant on FileShore does not constitute our endorsement of that Merchant. We are not responsible for the products, services, or conduct of any Merchant.

7.3 Disputes with Merchants

Any disputes regarding purchases, warranties, loyalty points, or vouchers are between you and the respective Merchant. We may assist in facilitating communication but are not liable for resolving such disputes.


8. Vouchers and Loyalty Programs

8.1 Voucher Terms

Vouchers received through FileShore are subject to the terms and conditions set by the issuing Merchant. We display these terms as provided by the Merchant but are not responsible for their enforcement.

8.2 Expiration

We provide reminders for expiring warranties and vouchers as a convenience. However, we are not liable if you miss an expiration date.


9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

9.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any personal content you upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your Documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.


10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our Privacy Policy.


11. Disclaimers

11.1 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11.2 Document Validity

We do not guarantee that Documents stored on FileShore will be accepted by third parties (such as insurers, tax authorities, or service centers) as valid proof of purchase or warranty. Acceptance is at the discretion of such third parties.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.


13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, you may request an export of your Documents.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service, other users, or Merchants.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
